Impact 100 Chooses Finalist

IIMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area announces five finalists to receive $233,000 in grant money

Pensacola, Fla.– IMPACT 100 will announce the top five finalists to receive one of two $116,500 grants at 9:30 a.m. on Thu., Sept. 16 at The Cultural Center. Five focus committees – culture, education, environment, family, and health & wellness – evaluated more than 80 applications from area nonprofit organizations and made site visits to learn more about the nonprofits before selecting the top contenders.

Each of the five finalists will make a presentation at the IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area annual meeting on October 21. At that meeting, members will vote for the top recipients to receive the grants.

IMPACT 100 is composed of 233 women who each contributed $1,000, allowing the organization to distribute the two equal grants of $116,500. Their goal is to broaden and modernize the idea of philanthropy for women.
